Beautiful hard to find vintage 3pc WH Grindley 6.75" bread & butter plates in the Marechal Neil pattern. Crafted in England made of earthenware and ironstone, these bread plates are a lovely design in good vintage condition. These Flow Blue plates are the
no gold detail style with cascades of deep cobalt blue flowers fill the surface of this lovely
plate. Intricate raised scrolling along edging. Lovely scalloped rim.
The WH Grindley world logo mark was used between 1891-1914 is
on both bowls. W.H. Grindley and Company was founded by William Harry Grindley in 1880 the Newfield Pottery, Tunstall, Stoke on Trent, England. The marking on the back rim show WH Grindley & Co,
England with the letters F B on the bottom of the world mark. The ID #
is 269030. Nice collection of history!
Plates are in great vintage condition! The usual pre-loved light utensil surface wear, crazing and 2 plates with multiple dings to rims here and there from years of adding flair to Betty's Sunday suppers, but nothing that distract from the treasures of elegant dining!
