Wobenzym is back and we continue to sell it. We had more than 150+ pcs sold before its temporary outage.
What Wobenzym is and what it is used for:
Wobenzym contains appropriately assembled enzymes (substances that break down proteins), which have the ability to effectively influence immunity, reduce inflammation and swelling, and to some extent dissolve blood clots. They speed up the course of inflammation and alleviate its consequences, suppress the manifestations of the disease caused by harmful immune complexes arising as a result of antibody reactions. Metabolism products and dead tissue material harmful to the human body are broken down faster. Swelling and bleeding are better absorbed. Rutin normalizes the permeability of the vascular wall. Wobenzym reduces blood viscosity and thereby improves blood circulation in the smallest vessels. Tablets are resistant to gastric juice.
Wobenzym is recommended in adults for the following conditions:
- post-traumatic swelling.
- inflammatory and postoperative conditions in surgery.
- lymphedemas (swellings caused by impaired lymph drainage) of various etiologies.
- fibrocystic mastopathy (a chronic breast disease characterized by the formation of cavities and ligaments).
- post-thrombotic syndrome of the lower limbs (conditions after the veins of the lower limbs are blocked by a blood clot), inflammation of superficial veins.
- some diseases caused by immune complexes (chronic inflammation of joints, muscles, tendons and soft tissues, multiple cerebrospinal sclerosis, vascular inflammation).
- advanced stages of arthrosis (long-lasting, non-inflammatory joint disease limiting their movement and causing pain)
- chronic and recurring inflammations (in the area of the nose, ears and throat, upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary and genital tract, joints and others).
- as supportive treatment when administering antibiotics.
Why does Wobenzym help with so many diseases?
Wobenzym is a medicinal preparation that contains a combination of enzymes from natural sources. Enzymes are so-called biological catalysts – organic compounds that enable the optimal course of most reactions in living organisms. There are several thousand types of enzymes and each of them is a distinct specialist. This means that they act in a certain way only on a certain substance. Only certain enzymes can be used for treatment.
The enzymes that Wobenzym contains have a positive effect on the inflammatory reaction. They speed up the absorption of swelling, bruises and sprains. They can thus shorten the healing time, thereby supporting the optimal course of follow-up treatment. Therefore, Wobenzym can help even where the patient suffers from several inflammations at the same time, and therefore it can be used in the treatment of a wide range of diseases that are caused or accompanied by inflammation.
Natural enzymes against inflammation, swelling and immune disorders
So-called proteolytic enzymes are of particular importance in our body when dealing with inflammation. They help us ensure the balance of the immune system so that inflammations occur quickly and without consequences. However, if our immunity is weakened or we are threatened by severe inflammation, it is advisable to support our defense system by administering similar enzymes from the outside. This is dealt with by a special area of medicine – systemic enzyme therapy. Long-term research has verified the effectiveness of the unique mixture of proteolytic enzymes, which is contained in the traditional drug of systemic enzyme therapy - the drug Wobenzym.
Usage:
Depending on the type and severity of the disease, treatment begins with a dose of 3 times 5 to 3 times 10 tablets per day. As symptoms subside, the dosage is gradually reduced to a maintenance dose of 3 tablets 3 times a day.
- post-traumatic swellings (bumps, sprains, dislocations, fractures) - we recommend starting the treatment with a dose of 10 tablets 3 times a day, depending on the clinical condition (after 7-10 days) we reduce the dose to 3 tablets 3 times a day until the symptoms completely disappear.
- inflammatory and post-operative conditions in surgery - we start the treatment with a dose of 10 tablets 3 times a day, after the acute condition subsides (7-10 days) until the symptoms disappear, we continue with a dose of 5 to 3 tablets 3 times a day.
- lymphedema (swelling caused by impaired lymph drainage) is a long-term treatment, in which we start with a dosage of 2 times 10 or 3 times 7 tablets a day (for 4-5 weeks), then the dosage is reduced to 3 times 5 tablets up to 3 times 3 tablets a day (at least 8 weeks). In this indication, we recommend consulting the attending physician.
- fibrocystic mastopathy (chronic disease of the breast characterized by the formation of cavities and ligaments) - we recommend a dosage of 10 tablets twice a day for at least 6 weeks. Before starting the treatment, it is advisable to consult the attending physician.
- post-thrombotic syndrome (condition after a vein is blocked by a blood clot) – 3 times 10 to 3 times 5 tablets per day for 5-6 weeks.
- inflammation of superficial veins - 3 times 7 to 3 times 5 tablets per day for 2-3 weeks.
- chronic inflammation of the joints and spine (rheumatoid arthritis, Bechterev's disease) – 5 tablets 3 times a day for 5-6 months.
- arthrosis (degenerative joint diseases) 3 times 6 tablets a day for 5-6 weeks.
- extra-articular rheumatism – 5 tablets 3 times a day for 3-4 weeks.
- multiple cerebrospinal sclerosis (in the phases of attacks and remissions and at the beginning of the chronically progressive stage) 1.-14. day 3 times 10 tablets a day, then the maintenance dose is switched to 3 times 3 tablets a day - long-term, in case of inflammatory conditions (infectious diseases, physical exertion, stress, vaccination, sunbathing) the dosage is increased to 3 times 10 tablets a day. It is recommended to consult the treatment with the attending physician.
- acute, chronic and recurrent inflammations (in the area of the nose, ears and throat, upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary and genital tract, joints and others). For acute inflammations – 3 times 10 tablets a day for 2 weeks, for chronic and recurring inflammations 3 times 5 tablets a day for 3-4 weeks.
Use in children
The drug is intended for use in adults and children aged 6 and over.
In children under 6 years of age, treatment should be started after consideration of the risk-benefit ratio by the attending pediatrician, who will also determine the dosage.
Unless otherwise specified, the daily dose for children should be calculated according to body weight - 1 gastro-resistant tablet per 6 kg of weight per day.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
