Red Head Fountain Grass (Pennisetum advena)
Red Head Fountain Grass is easy to grow, is fast growing, and blooms all Summer and Fall with large, showy red-bronze bottlebrush like plumes atop attractive dark green foliage. Red Head Fountain Grass has the largest plumes of any fountain grasses, often up to 8 inches long. In late Fall and Winter, leaves turn a golden color.  Plumes make a great cut flower. Adds texture and color to any garden.

Will grow up to 4 foot tall and 3 foot wide. Prefers full sun and any well draining soil. This drought tolerant, low maintenance grass is a great choice for areas requiring less frequent watering. Plant as mass plantings, as a border, in containers, in perennial gardens and around outdoor living areas. Grows in USDA zone 5-9. Deer Resistant.
