Pipes installed in the tunnels for reservoir outlets are 4,700 feet of 30-foot diameter main headers, 1,900 feet of 25-foot diameter pipes VEGAS below the branch penstock tunnels to the power plant, and 2.000 feet of 8-foot diameter pipes in 11-foot diameter tunnels leading the needle valve outlets. The maximum thickness of the largest pipe is almost 3 inches.
