Marshall, a prolific writer of historical fiction, had two novels, SON OF FURY, and YANKEE PASHA adapted to three major films with star actors including Tyrone Power and Kirk Douglas.

Former owner's 1925 dated inscription to the front end-paper, spine titles tarnished, light rubbing to the corner tips and to the upper and lower spine edges, spine slightly darkened, else very good in a green linen with gilt embossed titles and borders to the front cover and to the spine; no dust jacket.
