Beta carotene in the body is transformed into vitamin A, which acts on the appearance, proper growth and development of the body, as an antioxidant protects the body from free radicals, protects the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays and allows the skin to darken properly during tanning.
It is used to offset the daily needs for vitamin A and beta-carotene in the spring and summer as well as with increased exposure to UV rays, as a preparation for sunbathing.
