This is a vintage silverplate creamer and sugar bowl marked on the bottom with "Silverplate" and an elaborate "S" hallmark that is difficult to make out. I haven't been able to definitively identify the maker but it is very similar to the S hallmarks used by Sheffield Silver Co of Brooklyn, NY (in business between 1908 and 1974) and Sheridan Silver Co, Inc of Taunton, MA (beginning business in 1944). Please see the articles referenced below for photos of the marks. The vintage tableware belonged to my grandmother and I can recall them being used since the 1970s. Best guess for a date would be Mid Century, ranging between the 1940s and 1960s. The pair are in nice shape, free from scratches or dents. The silverplate pair measures about 2.5" tall x 5" wide.
