Walla Walla Sweet Onion (Allium cepa), is known as "the world's best tasting onion". This heirloom is Washington's state vegetable, hailing from Walla Walla, WA. Excellent for planting in the north in the fall and overwintering, where the flat-shaped bulbs will grow to 5"-6" in 300 days. If planted in the spring, expect 2.5"-3" bulbs after 150 days. Not the greatest for storing so definitely use soon after harvest
