  • This is a 7" vintage metal acetate 45 rpm phonograph record.  The artist is unknown to me.  No name is on the label.  Song titles "Just When" and "Some Enchanted Evening".  Record label: Bell.  There are no numbers on the label or in the matrix.  I'm assuming this is a one-off recording but uncertain.

  • The music sounds like 1960's Pop Soul.  Similar to Ed Townsend or Brook Benton.  The voice sounds familiar but I can't identify it.  It may be Ed Townsend but uncertain.   Addresses of the YouTube audios are posted below.  If links don't work, you will need to copy and paste in your browser to take you there.
  • Condition is visibly graded fair to good.  There are moderate to heavy surface scratches but no deep knife cuts.  There are sections of the vinyl which have separated from the metal as shown.  They don't actually go into the grooves and it doesn't adversely affect the play of it.  The song is complete.
  • The record plays:  Side 1 plays VG+ (very good +) or better.  It starts quickly and ends with a heavy "whooshing".  Side 2 plays VG, having some background noise and popping.  Vocals are crisp and clear and the record plays through without any skipping.
