This kit is meant for the Landroid models capable of mowing a larger area, and as such has more boundary wire and pegs than the expansion kit meant for the Landroids with a smaller range. The extra charging station, and the extra 426 ft. of boundary wire to draw a new boundary, allows you to set Landroid up to mow in areas that it was restricted from because of natural barriers or manmade ones like landscaping or driveways. Many Landroid owners purchase a second charging base so that they can have one for the front yard, and one for the backyard, if their yard is larger or split by an unpassable boundary like a fence. All you have to do is pick Landroid up, while powered off, and place it in the front or the back. Sure, it’s a little extra work, but still far less than mowing the lawn yourself. Extra chargers are also great for remote areas of your property cut off from the rest of the lawn. And with 180 extra pegs included, you can shape the extra boundary wire however you need to.
