300 Fireweed Seeds RosWillow Herb Yanagiran Native Wildflower.

Native perennial wildflower that offers beauty as well as medicinal uses. Slender upright spikes of flowers in shades of rose/pink bloom from June-September. Aka: Willow Herb, Rosebay, Willowherb and Yanagiran. This American native herb can be grown to relieve inflammation, draw out infection in wounds, and treat burns. Attractive to bees and butterflies, and there is even Fireweed Honey that's in high demand and very expensive. This plant gets it name because it's usually the first plant to appear after a fire. The seeds will lie in wait for years, waiting for a clearing with bright sunlight to germinate. Fireweed does not do well with competition, if something grows over it and blocks light, they will usually succumb. To combat this Fireweed grows up superfast, with blooming sometimes starting in just a of few months, that's very fast for a perennial. They have a long-life span (7+yrs) and can be divided after year 2 and beyond. They will spread through rhizomes and dropped seed. Overall, a carefree tough as nails plant that blooms profusely without really doing anything. Mature plants are drought tolerant. Some American Native Wildflower seeds need to go through a cold winter to germinate. This plant is one of them. They do this so the seed won’t sprout in fall, only to have the seedling not make it through a cold winter. I have stratified these seeds to simulate a cold winter (stratification). This raises the germination rate considerably.

Due to varying conditions regarding germination (moisture, temperature, soil contamination, not to mention buyer experience and knowledge and experience of germination), we cannot guarantee germination rate of seeds. All of our seeds are fresh, viable, and tested. If you have questions or concerns, you can always contact us through messages.
