About The Record:

Nashville, by Ian and Sylvia, is one the three albums the Canadian country and folk music duo released in 1967. They began performing together in 1959, married in 1964, divorced in 1975 which is when they stopped performing together. This album is one of two that they recorded in Nashville and can be defined as early country rock music; and was widely considered the first collaboration of rock and Nashville players. Three of Bob Dylan's Basement Tapes songs are included on their Nashville albums; most of the rest were written by Ian or Sylvia. Two of these Dylan songs are on Nashville: The Mighty Quinn and Wheels on Fire.
