The Jean Craig books are a series of five juvenile novels published from 1948 through 1950 by The World Publishing Company. They were written by Kay Lyttleton, a pseudonym for author Mary Anne Amsbary. The main character, Jean Craig, is an earnest, fun-loving teenage girl growing up in a middle-class family in post World War II America. The books relate the struggles and the triumphs of Jean and her courageous, close-knit family. A wholesome, uplifting series. The complete series includes the following titles, in chronological order: Jean Craig Grows Up, Jean Craig in New York, Jean Craig Finds Romance, Jean Craig Nurse, and Jean Craig Graduate Nurse. Similar to Cherry Ames and Kathy Martin Series.

This book is in good condition. It is a hardcover with covered dust jacket. The dj has some wear and loss. Small price inscription on front free endpapers. Plain frontispiece illustration.
