Hardcover in publisher’s blind-stamped and gilt-stamped brown boards. An uncommon reprint from 1919 published by Harper’s. The first edition of this book, never published in England, was published in 1898 by the Arnold publishing house.

This was Donald Wandrei’s copy and a small card is laid in the book stating this.

Wandrei was co-founder if Arkham House and author.

A very nice copy, fine with a bit of spine darkening and framing of the spine letters. Interior has no markings. The book comes to your home in a Mylar removable jacket.
