This pair of vintage (made on 10-12-1997 dated inside right boot) handmade Larry Mahan boots were made for Cavender's, Larry Mahan was a world class rodeo rider who started making boots that were comfortable and stylish, and noted for high quality in both workmanship and quality of materials , and collectors are always looking for these boots that are in great condition.
Smooth leather toe, instep and tongue with traditional stitching. The shaft has a decorative stitching pattern, stacked leather heel and leather soles. Heel cap is made from a non leather material (could be a hard rubber)? Single stitching design on the pull strap. There is light brown piping (top of boots) and the side seam has the brown piping as well. Heel height is approximately 1 3/4 inches high.
There is light smooth scuffing on the right boot as shown in photo.
Boots have been disinfected using "10 Second" disinfectant spray and further placed in direct sunlight for a minimum of 12 hours. Bickmore Bick 4 conditioner was applied to both inside and outside of boots.
