In addition to state-of-the-art design including Low Nox emissions standard compliance, the unit comes with multiple safety features such as built-in freeze protection, manual reset high limit, an overheat cutoff fuse, inlet and outlet thermistors to monitor temperatures, and a built-in flame sensor. The unit comes with a LED digital display that shows the output temperature reading. This model is CSA certified for the US and Canadian markets.

  WARNING: It is designed for outdoor installation only. Any other type of installation can result in death, personal injury and or damage to the product or property. 

Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier.

Horizontal Vent Considerations

  WARNING: Moisture in the flue gas will condense as it leaves the vent terminal. In cold weather this condensation can freeze on the exterior wall, under eaves and on surrounding objects. Some discoloration to the exterior of the building is to be expected. However, improper location or installation may result in serve damage to the structure or exterior finish of the building.

- DO NOT locate vent terminal on the side of a building with prevailling winter winds. This will help prevent water lines from freezing and moisture from freezing on walls and under eaves.

- DO NOT locate vent terminal too close to shrubbery, as flue gasses may damage them. A minimum distance of 4 ft. (1.22 m) is recommended.

-All painted surfaces should be primed to lessen the chance of physical damage. Painted surfaces will require maintenance.

-Guard against accidental contact with people and pets

- Install outdoor water heater such that air inlet and flue outlet are above anticipated snow level.

This water heater is not suitable for use in manufactured (mobile) homes.

Venting Safety

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation, including additional clearances from combustibles, to avoid conditions that can lead to death, personal injury, and or property damage.

Failure to install and properly vent the water heater to the outdoors as outlined in the "Venting" section of the Installation Instructions in this manual will result in death from fire, explosion, or asphyxiation from carbon monoxide. Never operate this water heater unless it is properly vented and has the necessary air supply.

Do not install water heater where flammable products will be stored unless the main burner flame is at least 18" above the floor. This will reduce but not eliminate the risk of vapors being ignited by the main burner flame.

These items or those similar are suggested only and not necessary for this unit to work properly.  

It is recommended that an inexpensive pre-sediment filter be install for your Marey tankless water heater. This will help capture debris or particles that would interfere with the operation and longevity of your unit.		We suggest that you flush your Marey Tankless water heater at least once a year with white vinegar. There are numerous Youtube videos that demonstrate the procedure. By installing an isolation valve kit to your Marey tankless water heater this makes the process much simpler.
