While the modern game of golf originated in 15th-century Scotland, the game's ancient origins are unclear and much debated. Some historians trace the sport back to the Roman game of paganica, in which participants used a bent stick to hit a stuffed leather ball. In Scotland, the first written record of golf is in 1457. To many golfers, the Old Course at St Andrews, a links course dating to before 1574, is considered to be a site of pilgrimage. In 1764, the standard 18-hole golf course was created at St Andrews when members modified the course from 22 to 18 holes. Golf is documented as being played on Musselburgh Links, East Lothian, Scotland as early as 2 March 1672, which is certified as the oldest golf course in the world by Guinness World Records. The world's oldest golf tournament in existence, and golf's first major, is The Open Championship, which was first played on 17 October 1860 at Prestwick Golf Club, in Ayrshire, Scotland. Two Scotsmen John Reid and Robert Lockhart, first demonstrated golf in the U.S. in 1888, with Reid setting up America's first golf club the same year, Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Yonkers, New York.

The Golf Ball Plaque Shows the Golf Iron Club as it traverses through Five Stages of its History of Development. On Display are Five of the Major Changes in the Golf Iron Club History from 1620 to 1905. It starts off with the Spurtoe Wrought Iron Circa 1620. Then moves to the Square Toe Wrought Iron Circa 1690. Next the Driving Iron Hand-Forged Iron Circa 1760. Then Cleek Hand-Forged Iron Circa 1870. Finally the Mashie Drop-Forged Iron Circa 1905. This is the one that led us to the modern Iron Club we use today.

Please note that all payments must be in USA Dollars. All Credit card and Paypal payments must be shipped to billing address. All payments made with personal checks, items are held 10 business days for check to clear. Please message us if you have any further questions.
Shipping
All items usually ship within 24 hours of payment being received. If you need item shipped Express mail and we will do everything in our power to get item shipped as fast as possible. That will include a special trip to post office, even after shipments have been made, if that can save a day. Please be sure to express if you need items by a certain date so we can be aware and also we can give you a estimate of arrival time.
Items in USA are shipped via USPS and are fully insured for replacement against loss and damage. in USA all boxes have a Delivery Confirmation number to confirm when package has arrived at your destination. This is not a tracking number however does sometimes work like one but not always, it depends on post office at that time.
International First Class orders, according to the USPS, can take anywhere from 3 days to 5 weeks to arrive. Usually 10 working days is a good rule of thumb. Global Priority Mail Boxes can take 3 days to 10 Days to arrive and Global Express can take 3 days to 5 days to arrive. However in USA the post office does not guarantee anything.
We use a professional shipper and you are being charged the actual shipping charges based on weight and location. We always will combine shipping when possible. For foreign customers we will address their specific needs also.

Returns
You are fully welcome to return your item for any reason within 60 days of purchase, no questions asked, as long as you are the original purchaser.
If you wish to return your order for an exchange or refund, you must first contact us by email so that your request can be processed on our system. Please do not send items back without authorization. Your return must be received back to our warehouse in the manner it was sent in original box unused. Once inspected, We will happily refund your purchase price minus any shipping charges incurred. Or you can exchange your item for another and receive a full credit towards the new item. Any item item received back used or soiled may be subject to service charges and possibly refusal of return. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
Refunds and exchanges will only be processed when we have received and checked the returned items. Please include a copy of all relevant information concerning item. This would include; Your name, Address, ID, address, Method of payment, date of purchase. We aim to process refunds and exchanges within 24 hours of receiving of your return.
If an order is returned to us because delivery has been refused, or because an incorrect address has been provided, the item/s will be held until we are contacted by you for reshipment. You also may have to pay additional shipping depending on circumstances.
