This is a pair of lovely opaque milk glass candlesticks, made by Imperial Glass Company in the 1950s or 1960s. There is a pretty floral design embossed on the bottom section. My general milk glass book calls the flowers roses. They are a single type of rose with an open bloom. There are three blossoms on each candlestick and viney stems and leaves around them. The cup of the candle holder has fine rings around it. The top of the base has larger rings around it, before going into the floral pattern. On the bottom of the candle sticks the glass is stippled and the IG mark is in the very center of the bottom.

The candlesticks are for taper candles. They are 3 1/2 inches tall, and the base is 3 3/4 inches wide. Together they weigh 14.4 ounces. There was very minor roughness around the bottom rims, which seemed to be in the mold seam. I gently rubbed around the bottom rims with a diamond file for crystal, and that smoothed it up and you can't tell that was done.
