This is a 1950s trinket box with a mid-century Hollywood Regency style. The material is resin. The colors are brick red, green, and gold. The design is features roses, leaves, various flourishes, elaborate gold legs, and a playful gold cherub handle on the lid. There are rhinestones on the box. A chain, which is original, keeps the box and lid from being separated.
Although this box doesn't appear to have been hand fabricated by hand, it was obviously hand painted. #27169

BACKGROUND: This is one of a number of things I recently purchased from a retired teacher neighbor before she moved away from our 55 and over community to live with her son. She had a house full of thing she received as gifts from students and friends, inherited from several family members, and purchased on international trips she took every summer. I'll be listing more of her things over the next several weeks and months.
SHIPPING: To make shipping reasonable in price and simple to understand, I offer FREE SHIPPING as the first option to US customers. Depending on the package weight, I offer upgraded shipping for an additional charge. The US Postal Service has recently changed classes of mail for the first time in many years and eliminated first class. This is expected to add a day or two to very light weight packages. Please be patient as we all get used to the new mail classes.
