BUYER is responsible for doing their own research to ensure they are buying the correct part(s) for their cassette deck, application, or DIY project.  And... for judging whether part (s) is compatible for their unit !  Once purchased, the order will NOT be canceled for any reason, and there are NO RETURNS!

For sale is a very nice FACEPLATE removed from a 1981 vintage Yamaha K-550 cassette deck that had too many electronic issues to be repaired.  All lettering is intact and the button caps work well.  The upper and lower tape well covers are attached.  The bottom one is a tape head dust cover, and it flips up and down as it should.  Like the bottom one, the top trim piece snaps into the metal faceplate via some plastic tabs.  The connecting tab on the left side (near power button) had broken off, but I added just a little Aleene's tacky glue which holds the trim piece securely in place.  Just need to be aware of this and be not pull on the piece.  There are a few minor surface scratches here and there but none are distracting.. almost hard to find. Clear plastic window piece that covers the deck's VU meters is in great, clean condition.  I can include a few screws that helped attach faceplate into the tape deck chassis.. there mostly plastic tabs that snap into slots on faceplate.  Buyer should keep all their original screws and be prepared to use them when attaching this replacement.
