“Русская история” is a book written by Mikhail Bestuzhev-Ryumin, a prominent Russian historian and statesman. The book was first published in 1858 and covered the history of Russia from the early medieval period up to the reign of Tsar Peter the Great.
Bestuzhev-Ryumin was a member of the Russian Imperial Academy of Sciences and held several government positions, including Minister of Education and Chief Procurator of the Holy Synod. He was known for his scholarship and extensive research on Russian history, and his book reflects his deep knowledge of the subject.
The book is divided into two volumes, each covering a different period of Russian history. It begins with the earliest known Slavic tribes in the region and traces the development of the Russian state through the medieval period and into the reigns of Ivan the Terrible and the Romanov dynasty. The later volumes focus on the reigns of Peter the Great and his successors, including Catherine the Great and Alexander I.
“Русская история Бестужевъ Рюминъ” is considered one of the most comprehensive and authoritative works on Russian history written in the 19th century. It was highly regarded by contemporary scholars and remains an essential source for historians today. The book is written in a detailed and scholarly style and thoroughly examines the political, social, and cultural developments that shaped Russia’s history.

Binding: Hardcover cloth binding with gilt-stamped spine cover. Scratches on the panels, some damage on the spine cover and along the edges, and bumped corners. However, the spine is strong and tight.
Condition: Inscriptions on the flyleaf and title page, also with the stamp by the previous owner. Light foxing, heavier on some of the pages, some stains, and signs of usage. Clean copy otherwise, in very good condition.

All items are shipped via registered priority airmail. In other words, you will receive a tracking number with whom you can trace the item location at any given time. In case you want another carrier like UPS, DHL, or other, please notify us before payment.
All items will be shipped in a strong cardboard tube to avoid damage during their voyage.
Combined Shipping:
It is possible to combine purchases. You just need to make a request for a separate invoice.

Shipping time:
We send all the items within 24h of payment received on a working day. In case we are on holiday the item will be shipped the first next working day.
Post offices sometimes need up to 48h to process the tracking number. Usually, all tracking numbers will be visible by then.
Customs office: You may be charged by the customs office in your country. There are no hidden expenses like sales or export taxes unless specified in the item’s description. Please familiarize yourself with the import laws of your country before purchasing in case you are not entirely sure if an item is subject to customs taxes. For some items, an export license is needed and additional fees and time to get the export permit will be clearly stated in the item description.
Some items may end up at customs inspections in Serbia so we will kindly ask you to be patient while such inspections take place because they can cause a delay in the delivery time.

We kindly ask our buyers to pay within three working days of the order. After that, the buyers will be sent a reminder. If the payment is not received even after that, a case will be opened.
In case you would like to return/exchange the item for any reason you are free to do so. We ask all our buyers to contact us prior to sending an item back. The moment the item arrives back the buyer will be entitled to a refund.
Exchange for another item from the store is also an option. It is possible to return an item within 60 days from the date of arrival.
