The 'Bird's Nest' grows in tight rosettes with oval green-golden leaves that have a wide central stripe that is green. The height is 4-5 inches and grow in colonies clustering and sometimes growing on top of one another. They are compact, require little water, some plant food but are a reliable little plant.

They may have a spike appear with small pearl-like flowers.
