Perennial, Chrysanthemum leucanthemum,  The showy flower heads are usually solitary and grow on long, terminal stems and 2 - 3" in diameter.  Leaves are sometimes used in salads.  Tea made from the whole plant has diuretic and antispasmodic properties and is used to treat asthma and whooping cough.  Seeds can be sown on the surface in either the spring or the autumn, needs light to germinate, in about 2 to 4 weeks.  Drought tolerant.  Sun.
