Antique vintage embossed copper wall decoration made in Armenia in the Soviet era 1970s or even early in the 1960s which evokes an Armenian Pagan God riding a herd of bulls which could be Vahagn Vishabakagh.

The bull symbolize in mythology, virility, passion, power, transformation, realization and many ancient peoples respected the bull as a symbol of strength and fertility, its size, power and potency have impressed man for many thousands of years.

Vahagn Vishapakagh, Vahagn the Dragon Reaper was a god of fire, thunder and war worshiped in ancient Armenia, it was sometimes even known as the god of sun. A dragonslayer Vahagn fought and conquered dragons, hence his title Vishabakagh, dragon reaper. Unlike the Roman or Greek Gods, Vahagn did not bring horror or fear as the God of war. Instead he was the patron-protector of the weak and needy.
