GERMINATION TIPS:

When preparing well-drained soil for succulents, make sure to use the right mix ratio. The best well-drained soil mix for succulents is a combination of 3 cups of soil, 3 cups of sand, and 1.5 cups of perlite.Unlike succulent seeds, those need to be buried 3mm deep with sand. Keep the temperature below 70F.

When most of the seeds germinate, uncover the container and protect the seedlings from direct sunlight. Spray it every day. The seedlings will grow extremely slow during the first year and develop a caudex. The fantastic thing is to place them in partial shade, bright indirect light. But remember, while they can tolerate low light, the more sun they get, the better they grow.Keep in mind that this plant is one of the slower-growing species available and it can take up to five years to reach maximum growth.

In about 8 months after the germination, the plant will develop a caudex the size of a coin.

Lignification will occur on older plants, the older the plant is, the more lignification is has.
