First Blood (also known as Rambo: First Blood) is a 1982 American action film directed by Ted Kotcheff and co-written by and starring Sylvester Stallone as Vietnam War veteran John Rambo. It co-stars Richard Crenna as Rambo's mentor Sam Trautman and Brian Dennehy as Sheriff Will Teasle. It is the first installment in the Rambo franchise.

This edition of First Blood was released in 1990 by Carolco Home Video, distributed by International Video Entertainment Inc (IVE), a subsidiary of LIVE Entertainment Inc. The sleeve/packaging was designed by IVE. Spine/Catalogue #65923.

Former Blockbuster rental copy, I took time to remove some of the sale stickers with the exception of the barcode tag on the back and the ‘Pre-Viewed’ tag on the front. Some adhesive residue remains on the sleeve. Tape also has a Blockbuster ‘Please Remember to Rewind’ front facing label with the word ‘PUT’ written in marker on top. Top label is original and has no markings on it.
