SOOW 600V Portable Cord is used in heavy-duty applications where flexibility and durability is a necessity. This hard usage portable cord can be used for portable tools, motor and welding leads, sound equipment, portable lights and machinery, power extensions, commercial and industrial equipment, light mining applications and battery chargers. SOOW is an indoor/outdoor rated portable cable that is resistant to oils, acids, water, cuts, tears and abrasions.

    Construction
    Conductors: - Soft drawn annealed stranded bare copper per ASTM B-3. Flexible, bunch stranded per UL 62. A separator may be applied over the conductor.
    Color Code: Black, White, Red and Green
    Insulation(UL): - Synthetic rubber. Oil and water resistant per UL 62.
    Jacket: - Oil Resistant Thermoset (CPE) for use in temperatures from - 40 C to 90 C. Black Jacket
    Standards(UL): - Meets the UL 62 and CSA requirements for Type SOOW. Accepted by the MHSA.
