The Girl Scouts of America 50th anniversary stamp, U.S. #1199, was issued while the Third Girl Scout Senior Roundup was underway in Button Bay, Vermont. The Roundup events were held at three-year intervals from 1956-65, but have not otherwise been regularly scheduled like Boy Scout Jamborees have. The stamp was issued in Burlington, Vermont, about 30 miles north of Button Bay.
