This is a vintage printed postcard made to look like a colorized photo, printed around 1911. The postcard printed in Spain features women in children from the Atalaya district, Las Palmas, Grand Canary, Canary Islands. This region is known for pottery manufacturing. Interestingly, the card bears on “O. H. Herzog | Las Palmas” ink stamp on the reverse. This may be a stamp applied by the Herzog Tobacco Co. As a postal history item, this postcard is also interesting as it includes a Spanish stamp postmarked Puerto de Las Palmas Canarias and was mailed to Hamburg, Germany..
