United States Paratroopers 75mm Pack Howitzer M1 with crew
The 75mm Pack Howitzer M1 was an artillery piece used by the United States. It was designed in the 1920s to meet a need for a howitzer that could be moved across difficult terrain. The gun and carriage were designed so that it could be broken down into several pieces to be carried by pack animals. The gun saw combat in World War II with the United States Army (primarily used by airborne units), with the United States Marine Corps, and was also supplied to foreign forces.
The present set comprises one pack howitzer together with a crew consisting of three paratroopers. One is firing the gun with a lanyard, another is grabbing a shell and an officer is pointing at a target.
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This set is printed using light curing resin and will be sent with supports already removed, it can be glued to a base using superglue or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from sample models, the models are similar in grade of detail. The set is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
