Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). 12" Single. Generic Motown cover looks great; a few creases near edges, light-scuffing, faint surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions and discoloration spots near bottom-center on front. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read, with light-wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge, heavier wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. BPM ("112") written on one side of label. (Not a cut-out.)
Jump Into My Life, by Stacy Lattisaw, was released as a single from her album Take Me All the Way and reached No. 3 on the Dance Club Songs Chart and No. 13 on the Hot R&B Songs Chart. Lattisaw recorded her first album for Cotillion Records at the age of twelve. The 1979 song Ring My Bell was originally written for then twelve-year-old Lattisaw, as a teenybopper song about kids talking on the telephone. When Lattisaw signed with a different label, Anita Ward was asked to sing it instead, and it became Ward's only major hit. Lattisaw scored several R&B hit albums between 1981 and 1986 and also opened for the Jacksons' Triumph Tour. Since the 1990s, she has exclusively sung gospel music.
