This listing consists of a Sebastian Miniature statue of President Abraham Lincoln made in 1997 for the benefit of John Hancock Lodge, AF & AM of Methuen, Massachusetts.
The statue is a copy of an artist's model in the Lodge's possession that was used to make the monument to Abraham Lincoln that once stood in Park Square, Boston, Massachusetts. The design was changed to exclude the Pedestal on the finished monument.
This statue was found, long forgotten, in a storage closet in the Lodge building.
There was only 250 of these cast.
The statue stands 4" high from the bottom of the base to the top of the head. On the front of the base is "Lincoln" and on the back is "John Hancock Lodge AF & AM".
It comes in a plain box and has a nice card with it, explaining the history of the statue.
In case you didn't know, Lincoln was not a Freemason, just a great President.
