This is Drawings from Georgia Collections - 19th and 20th Centuries by Peter Morrin and others. Published by the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia, for an exhibit from May to June, 1981 and at the University of Georgia in Athens from July to August, 1981. 214 pages with many black-and-white illustrations. Includes a High Museum news release paper on the exhibit.

"This catalogue accompanied a 1981 Georgia exhibition and contains 103 drawings ("non-printed works on paper") by French, English, German and American artists of the 19th century (39 in all) and by European and American artists (64) of the following century. The drawings are generally whole page/one third page size, with information about the drawing (including provenance, exhibitions, bibliography), about the artist and the relationship of the individual drawing to other works.

"One interesting feature is that many of these drawings are displayed for the first time and include a number from private collections in Georgia. Whilst the 19th century artists are mostly familiar (Delacroix, Manet, Degas, Constable) those from the 20th century include a number of lesser-known artists (Antes, Alechinsky, Le Va, Alfred Leslie). Individual readers will respond to different drawings but I was particularly struck by the works of Jules Pascin, Arthur Davies, Max Weber, Max Beckmann and, above all, Frans Masereel..."
