Lemang is a traditional Southeast Asian food made of glutinous rice, coconut milk and salt, cooked in a hollowed bamboo stick lined with banana leaves in order to prevent the rice from sticking to the bamboo. It is commonly found in maritime Southeast Asian countries, especially Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore.
Nona Lemang is wrapped with High Density Polyethylene Perforated Food Grade plastic. This bag can be withstand temperature up to to 106°C and complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1750. It also complies with Malaysia Food Act (Act 281) and Regulation (20th June 2003).

Cooking Guidelines
Boil in the Bag - From Ambient
Put 5 packets of Nona Lemang together with 2 liter (10 glasses) of water and cook in a pot using high flame until boil (about 5 minutes). Ensure water level covers all the lemang packets.
Add coconut flavoured powder into the water and stir the Nona Lemang for a while. Turn to middle flame and cook for 45 minutes.
Drain the water and leave the Nona Lemang to cool before cutting.

Store in cool dry place
