This variety sets big, beautiful ears of corn perfect for flour or drying. The color combination, a mixture of rich mahogany and blue, is one of the most unusual I've seen. The sturdy ten foot stalks are well anchored and stood 50 mph winds here in late summer.  It is a 90 day corn. I would think this would be fairly drought tolerant as well..I obtained the seed from a fellow market vendor.
