These beans take close to 80 days to mature, but are well worth the wait. The husky vines reach six or more feet, have showy white blossoms, and bear the pods high on the plant. This is a wonderful soup bean, and the pods are also edible at the green stage, though I haven't tried them that way.

About 40 seeds to a packet- they are among the largest dry beans I have grown.
