Import from Canada. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover, with top opening, looks good; moderate scuffing and a few creases (front/back); front has sticker residue and large marker letters written near top right. Left seam has come partially unglued. Inner-sleeve is original (photo/album info); two seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners, small split at top left corner. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)

Cigarettes was the first album after Punk band Battered Wives changed their name, due to protests, to The Wives. The most notable song from Cigarettes was New Wave Robot. For his work on Cigarettes, the designer Rodney Bowes won a Juno for Best Album Graphics at the Juno Awards of 1980.
