These are beautiful Shiva Lingam stones which was sourced from the Narmada River in India. 

These special stones have been sacred in Hindu culture for many thousands of years. 

The harvesting of these stones is allowed from the river once a year 

while the river is very low, so the stones are easier to collect. 

These stones are a cryptocrystalline form of quartz, they contain iron which is what gives

 them the colourful red markings that they are known for. There are many forms of patterns and each

 one is totally unique. Each one a natural wonder of nature.

The only man made part is putting each stone in situ so as to let the waters of the 

Narmada River wear the rock down.
