While conductor Michail Jurowski has led many acclaimed performances in a wide variety of concert and operatic repertory throughout his career, he has become best known for his interpretations of lesser known music, particular rarely encountered works by Prokofiev and Shostakovich. Jurowski has also championed the symphonies and orchestral music of Swedish composer Wilhelm Peterson-Berger. This is a collection of those five symphonies in unplayed pre owned condition. The box has some light storage wear on the edges and corners and is not sealed, but the discs are in like new condition. Wilhelm Peterson-Berger was one of the foremost national romantic Swedish composers of the early 20th century.
