Stunning blue and white Arabia of Finland Jelly, jam, or condiment jar. It is a very rare piece designed by Esteri Tomula. She worked for  Arabia from 1947-1984. Her work was inspired by Finland's flowers. The pattern is named "Malva" and was in production from 1964-1979. The patter is repeated over the entire piece. It has a central  daisy style flower. The center of the flower is deep blue and has lighter blue dots. THe petals are made of lines with varying degrees of thikness, to give it added dimension. This is all surrounded by line drawn leaves, a style characteristic to this artist. It would look stunning on any table scape, and brighten any dreary morning with its glossy vibrant presence. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. It is in excellent condition, no chips, scratches or cracks.
