Clay Nativity Set Terra Cotta Unglazed Artisan Handmade Latin American Folk Art

Rare Latin American folk art nativity set.  

Handmade from terra cotta / clay.  Unglazed, unpainted.  Primitive detailing.  These were not made from molds, they are artisan hand-crafted.

Based on the "clothing," I think these are Peruvian.

The pieces vary in size from approximately 5" - 9" inches tall x approximately 2"- 4" inches wide.

Eight pieces including Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus, a shepherd, a sheep, 3 kings / wise men.

Pre-owned.  The sheep has a a poorly repaired cracked face; the shepherd has a broken nose.
