This is a gorgeous reverse foil decorated French art glass plate by Laque Line.
Grapes and grape vines design.
These Laque Line pieces were produced in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France in the 2nd half of the 20th century.
This gilt-speckled art-glass plate is produced by the eglomisation process of reverse painting, foiling, internal sealing, and external lacquering.
The glass plate has a pressed design, which furthers the illusion of depth to the design.
The original Laque Line label is affixed to the underside and reads “Piece unique realisee a la main/Made in France.”
Beautiful, rich-looking piece!
