Written for those with a basic knowledge of flowers, this colorful guide is packed with photos and tips, plus a wealth of ideas and projects, complete with step-by-step instructions. 275 color illustrations. Editorial ReviewsFrom Library Journal
The flower crafts in this book are broadly defined to include projects using natural materials such as seeds, nuts, and moss in addition to dried and fresh flowers. The step-by-step projects include an artificial bonsai and a seed tree, as well as the more common dried arrangements, potpourris, flavored vinegars, and candied flowers. There is also a good, detailed section on making and arranging naturalistic silk flowers. Excellent color photographs show all the items needed for a project, each step in the process, and the final product. The authors are all prolific British writers in nature crafts and cooking, and this book reflects their many years of experience in this area. A glossary provides American equivalents of British terminology. Full of ideas for public library users, this book is highly recommended.
