Ole Lynggaard 925 Sterling Silver Gold Turquoise Ring Pendant Necklace Set Danish
Modern leaf design ring and necklace with brooch/pendant set with OLEL 925 markings on ring and pendant. Twisted rope chain necklace with extension is marked 925 SVC or SVG and measures approximately 16 1/2" from end to end.
Ring has opening on band - this is part of the design, so size is approximately 6 1/2. See photo for close up. Ring has folded sterling silver leaf design with oval turquoise stone in smooth polished gold setting. Silver leaf design measures approximately 3/4" wide and 11/16" long.
Pendant measures approximately 1 1/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Folded sterling silver leaf design with oval turquoise stone in smooth polished gold setting. Pendant can be worn as brooch as it has pin on back side. There are two hoops on back of pendant for chain.
Both pendant and ring have OLEL designer mark. There is some tarnish and the jewelry has minor signs of wear. One owner, purchased in the early 1980s. Has not been worn in 30 years.
We have been in touch with a representative from the Ole Lynggaard Company. The electronic communication from them states "We can inform you that this design was created in 1979, and is a combination of silver and yellow gold. The stones are turquoises [sic]. The design did not have a name, as we did not name the series at that time."
