COFFINITE is one of six common uranium

minerals found at this canyon.  The others

are:  Jurassic Todilto Limestone, Carnotite,

Uraninite, Jurassic Todilto Limestone (JTL),

or Tyuyamunite. Often several minerals are

blended together in the same rocks. The JTL

rock is a unique sandstone rock, produced

from sands that have been covered with

water for very long extended time intervals.

At this canyon, JTL is the most likely rock

type that contains radioactive dinosaur

fossils.

Various yellow spots are found on the

present coffinite rock. These spots are

uranium oxide, U3O8.  When concentrated

during the processing of uranium from the

rocks, the yellow powder has a distinctive

name known to all uranium miners or uranium

hobbiests:  "Yellowcake."

When buying uranium rocks like this one,

you should consider getting a combined

purchase of two or three rocks, to be

shipped together in one package. When

this is done, the shipping cost is charged

only to one rock, and shipping costs for

the additional rocks being bought at the

same time, are refunded to the buyer's

PayPal account.

NO EXPORTS TO OTHER COUNTRIES

Federal regulations by the Nuclear Regulatory

Commission forbid the export of uranium in

any form, to any foreign country; not even

Canada !
