This is a well maintained pre owned Level 1 Myler Toklat stainless steel 3 inch diameter Western "D" Dee ring egg butt bit with a sweet iron MB 32 comfort snaffle wide barrel mouthpiece that measures 5 inches wide with 7/16 inch diameter bars shaped in a pronounced curve to promote comfortable swallowing and inlaid copper on the bars to encourage salivation.  The 02 mouthpiece is the mildest Myler mouthpiece in terms of tongue pressure.  The Myler® Low Port Comfort Snaffle D-Ring Bit MB 32 is a Level 1 Myler bit designed for horses with basic training established.

The MB32 is a Myler alternative to the traditional mullen bit.  It is curved more than a traditional mullen, providing more room for the horse's tongue under the bit.  The MB 32 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching.  The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement™.  An egg butt is a traditional cheek style which keeps the mouthpiece from draping on the tongue, providing a more direct signal than the loose ring.  The straight side of the egg butt will not pull through the mouth and does not pinch.

The Myler Bitting System is a graduated system, meaning that as your horse learns and progresses through his training, you will change the way you communicate with him by re-bitting him periodically.  Each Myler Bit is designed to use select pressure points for the best communication for that level.This is a very comfortable bit for the horse due to its ergonomic curvature design.  The unique curved bars of all Myler bits are ergonically designed to accommodate the natural anatomy of the horse's mouth, wrapping the bars and lips instead of pinching as the mouthpiece rotates onto the tongue.
