This is a pair of artist-made patinaed copper disk stud earrings. Each earring has two strands of thin wire wrapped around the center holding 3 small beads - a copper bead with verdigris surrounded by 2 small gold colored beads. A stud finding is affixed to the back of each. There are no maker's marks. #25181
SIZE: Each earring is 1 1/4" in diameter.
BACKGROUND: I purchased these earrings from a woman who inherited an enormous jewelry collection (fine, costume, and hand made) from her mother who bought jewelry literally everywhere (stores, art shows, antique shops, from TV, etc. both in the US and on trips to other countries). She loved all kinds of jewelry and had the means to acquire whatever she liked.
CONDITION: These earrings are in very good condition. Like most pieces in this massive collection, they do not appear to have been worn much, if at all.
