Vintage original 10.25 x 14 in. US double-weight semi-glossy oversized photograph from the 1960s British comedy/drama, THE MADWOMAN OF CHAILLOT, released in 1969 in the US by Warner Bros./Seven Arts and directed by Bryan Forbes. Katharine Hepburn stars as the nice, eccentric, idealistic and slightly mad Countess Aurelia, who believes that the good must prevail over evil, decides to stand up to corrupt powerful leaders of Paris by putting them on trial with "unwashed masses" as the jury.
The image depicts The Broker (Charles Boyer), who "keeps watch on the ups and downs of the world's markets." This photograph comes from a newspaper archive and features grease pencil marks in the bottom border. It is in fine+ condition as shown with light horizontal waviness across the entire photo.
