After thoroughly researching the Cheyenne woman’s tradition of painting abstract designs of spiritual significance on dressed, buffalo hides, the artist created a Painted Pony design that honors this authentic Native art form. The original "Cheyenne Rawhide Pony" was selected as Best of Show by Southwest Art Magazine in "The Native Art of Horse Painting" competition.
Please be advised: Some boxes and/or ponies arrive from Westland Giftware with small flaws and/or imperfections. These ponies are not considered damaged. New in box/packaging was only opened to determine edition, sequence number, and inspect pony for damage at time of receipt.
The Edition/Sequence number can sometimes be very difficult to read. The number in the lisiting is my best interpretation of the number. If there is any doubt as to the number, I will list at the highest possible interpretation of the number.
