*Mara was a Mexican famous artist that past away in 2007
*All her designs were made of a very durable material, stoneware that will last for years while keeping its original beauty
*Each piece is fired twice at a high temperature and finished by hand - Minor imperfections are therefore a common characteristic of hand-finished stoneware products
*Only lead-free glazes were used on this stoneware set and the product was tested to ensure that there are no traces of either lead or cadmium *Plate is microwave and dishwasher safe
